Focusrite/DANTE
Every studio is connected to our live room via Dante connections using Focusrite Rednet Gear. Dante replaces all connections with a computer network, effortlessly sending video or hundreds of channels of audio over slender Ethernet cables with perfect fidelity.
All connections are managed with software, making routing fast, organized, and reliable. And because all devices share the same network; signals can be sent between any devices no matter where they are located in the studio, with no change to the wiring at all. Dante systems are easily expanded, exactly as one would add a printer to a network. Just connect additional devices to any available network jack and start working.
The Sound of Focusrite.
RedNet is Focusrite's groundbreaking audio-over-IP system...scalable and versatile. RedNet harnesses the simplicity of Ethernet to build audio network systems that range from a small facility with one or two recording spaces to large studios with multiple recording spaces and control rooms.
PMC & Dolby Atmos
In cooperation with the Professional Monitoring Company (PMC) and Dolby, LemonTree in Highland Park features a state of the art Atmos mix room. This studio acts as a hub for the high end audio community with regular demo, mix and listening sessions.
Maurice Patist, President PMC USA, says:
"The full Dolby Atmos set up in our LA studio reflects our strategic partnership with Dolby and Universal Music Group, bringing the Atmos immersive format closer to the music production market," he says. "The studio exists of an LCR of MB3-XBD-A monitoring, twotwoSub.2 for LFE channels and a selection of our Wafer on-wall monitors for all the surround and height channels, similar to the systems already installed at Capitol Studios.
These are not commercial facilities as their primary function is to privately demo the entire PMC product line. However, we will be encouraging Los Angeles and New York-based music production clients and other members of the PMC family to use them, like Capitol Records at LemonTree.”
Ron ‘Spider’ Entwistle adds:
"The PMC community in LA is growing. We're growing in number, and we're learning from each other. Our new studio will be a place where we can host sessions, workshops, live streams, interviews…anything we can dream up to let clients see for themselves what PMC's strengths are.”
