Plug & Play By The Day
LemonTree Studios has finally opened a very special day-rate studio. Because out lock-out studios are in such demand by pro writers, artists and producers, we’re always asked if it’s possible to just get a day-rate session. Well, the answer is now YES! We are very excited to bring you into our new “Plug & Playroom” within our Highland Park facility.
This “Plug & Play studio setup for your laptop DAW. The studio includes use of our piano, guitars, vintage synths, keyboards, vintage whirly, Hammond B3, all wired and ready to record! How about some live drums? Your digital dance with an analog partner is perfect for escaping and creating in a fully tuned, pro-sounding studio. Why sacrifice a great take as a poorly recorded scratch track?
We’re currently booking sessions 9am-6pm and 6pm-2am.

Where: The Highland Park Facility hosts the musically creative expansion of the LemonTree Live Room to develop a new standard in a day rate “production room” recording set up.
What: The “Plug & Playroom” was developed for writing and immediate recording with pre-wired live instruments in an A-list recording studio setting. Why settle for having to redo “scratch tracks” because of a loud neighbor when the perfect original take could be album-ready? The Plug & Playroom gear is outfitted for your standard straight ahead writing/recording session- two channel interface, production desk, monitors, mic, headphones- laptop required. (See gear lists)
Who: The “Plug & Play Live Room” is outfitted to excite and capture every creative idea the songwriter and producer writes and records- live vocals, Yamaha upright piano, bass, guitar, Wurlitzer electric piano, Hammond organ, hand claps, finger snaps, or a yodeling leprechaun. Step up to the mic!
The Whole Band? When you’re ready, LemonTree can coordinate multi-track sessions of up to 32 channels of live recording through class A gear in a traditional Control Room / Live Room setup. You should hear how “Drums recorded at LemonTree Studios” sound. HUGE! (The engineering services are provided by LemonTree tenant partners.)

*Sebastien signed with Saddle Creek Records in the USA, Outside Music in Canada, and JVC in Japan to release his debut solo album, entitled "Sebastien Grainger & The Mountains." Grainger is best known to the public for being the singer and drummer in the duo Death from Above 1979, with bassist Jesse F. Keeler.
